Here at YOUNG AT HEART, you will find information about my one-of-a-kind fantasy creations, photos, yearly art show schedule, "about me", and more. In the coming weeks, I will be adding pages showing tutorials on how several of my creations are created, sample photos of the different styles available in my shops, and also information on "special ordering".
YOUNG AT HEART is my business name, but I now also sell my creations under the name DZFANTASY. (See paragraph below)

can now purchase any of my creations on my two "on-line" shops, which
I have named "DZFANTASY". I have a DZFANTASY shop on ETSY and
another DZFANTASY shop on FUZZB (Blue Fuzzy Slippers). Each of these
shop's feature any and all of my creations that are currently available.

I decided to sell my work through these venues, to make it easier for the customer to see what is currently available at any given time. Through these two venues, you can now LOOK, SHOP AND BUY all in one easy step using any major credit card via PAYPAL. If you prefer, I also accept payment via money orders on these sites.

Once you have one .....you'll be sure to want another one of these delightful creatures!! They lighten one's heart, and bring a bit of magic into the lives of those who give them a home!
Each of my creations are truly one-of-a-kind, designed and individually created by me. No two are alike!! THAT JUST WOULDN'T BE ANY FUN!
I individually needle-sculpt and hand-paint each of their faces, using 100% silk tussah fabric. Tussah silk comes from wild moths whose main diet is oak leaves. The ethnic faces are silk tussah fabric which has been hand-dyed in various shades.
Their hairdos are created from quality imported designer yarns (from Italy, France, England), in a fantastic array of colors and textures.
Their accents and adornments range from Swarovski crystals, Czech glass beads and crystals, various semi-precious stones, silk flowers, pieces of old jewelry, necklaces designed from colored wires and beads, or accents around their waists. The mermaids are accented with real star fish, sand dollars, and other shells, as well as Swarovski crystals and glass beads.

O that I had the wings of a dove For then I would fly high above The cares and struggles found on earth, Through and beyond the clouds' upper berth Into a place of uncommon things Where enchantment and lightness brings A greater freedom to explore Fantasy, fairies, and all wings that soar. I would dip and dive like a bird at sea Into wingspans of creativity, And on the coming back of my flight I would reenter earth with delight Empowered in soul, mind and heart To create and enjoy all forms of art.
