Fun, colorful, affordable, wearable art! 

 On this page you will find my latest creations of  "butterfly" pins.  Add a bit of fun and color to any outfit. Each pin measures approximately 2" wide at the widest point of the wings (top), and is about 1" high from the tip of the antennae to the bottom portion of the wing.  The wings are fabric, which has been lightly stuffed with 100% acrylic fiberfill, top-stitched into a design, and have inner wire armatures.

Many of the pins are 100% silk, which I hand-painted using silk fabric dyes. The silk fabric brings a sheen to the pins.  Much prettier in person!  Other fabrics are top quality quilting fabrics....BATIKS, COTTON, ETC.  

Their bodies are Swarovski crystals.  All bodies and accents are hand-sewn onto the wings.  The pin clasp is cemented to a half-circle of texturized brass.  See photo below.  Photos below are close-ups of the pins.
