"HARLEY RIDER" FAIRY!!!

This newest creation is getting her very own page!  She is AWESOME, right down to her authentic Harley Davidson pin, and beautiful face!  This creation has now been SOLD, but if you'd like to have me design one for you, please feel free to contact me.

Here is a delightful poem sent to me by a very special lady, who's creative gift is to write  wonderful poems.  She sent me this as a gift after seeing this Harley Fairy.  

 

WIND FAIRY 

Harley Rider Fairy 
Comes from an enchanting place. 
She began as a spirit of wind, 
See the magic in her face. 
A mixture of leather, denim, fringe, 
Crystal, and gold, 
She delights in the dreams 
Of both the young and the old 
Who disregard confining rules, 
Who dare to be free. 
She protects and guards them fiercely 
Without apology. 
A creation from "The Young At Heart" 
To place by your side, 
Whether you soar in fantasy 
Or on a Harley ride.

She is ready to soar like an eagle!  Her height, before sculpting into her permanent sitting position, is 15" tall.   Sitting, she measures 6.75" tall from her "seat" to the  top of her leather cap. Her wings extend about another 1.25".

Her glistening golden hairdo was designed from an Italian yarn that shimmers and sparkles.  The tips have  an almost fiber-optic glow to them.   Everything on this fairy was individually designed and created by me, the artist, with the exception of the genuine Harley Davidson pin (which my husband so kindly give me for her vest accent). One side of the pin is the American flag, and the other side is a black flag with the Harley Davidson insignia  on it.

Her jeans and wings are black denim, her boots are silk which I hand-dyed black and have leather fringe trim around the tops.  Her t-shirt top was created from a piece of a Harley Davidson t-shirt. (there went a perfectly good t-shirt, but she had to have the genuine thing!)

She is wearing a black leather vest with long fringes, a leather braided belt, accented with crystal clear Swarovski crystals, and a  Swarovski crystal and gold metal seed bead necklace.  Her black leather hat also has 3 clear Swarovski crystals as accents.  The center back of her wings have several strands of long, black leather and Swarovski crystals and gold seed beads on gold wire.  Oh yes, I almost forgot...she is also wearing a bracelet, which I designed from Swarovski crystals and gold metal seed beads.

Her gorgeous face, like all of my original designed figures, is 100% silk which I hand-draw, needle-sculpt, hand-paint, and then add a crystal clear lacquer to give them a 3-dimensional look and bit of shine.
