#71 - $155.00 - FAIRY ON SILK LEAF - Available as of 6/09/08

If you are looking for a truly exquisite fairy...this is it!!  She is 15" tall before sculpting into her current, permanent position.  Sitting, the fairy measures approx. 7"  from her "seat" to the top of her head.  Her body/wing fabric is a quality cotton fabric, which I found in a quilt shop out in SD this pas summer.  It is in shades of magenta, purples, hints of yellow and orange with gold metallic highlights in the pattern.  I've accented the spray of flower buds on her chest with Swarovski crystals sewn right into the fabric. She also has a crystal belly button, crystal waist accents, crystal ankle bracelet, crystals in the center back of her butterfly shaped wings, and also a hand-painted organza flower with crystals in the center. Her gorgeous, hairdo is a soft, wispy Italian yarn with metallic threads running through, which gives her sparkle and shine.  The fairy comes permanently attached to her 100% hand-dyed silk leaf.  The leaf measures 9.75" at its widest point, and 12" long from the tip to the tip of the stem.
