Meet "EMERALD" the Good Witch!  

Emerald has just arrived, and she is ready to cast her spells for you, bringing only good luck, happy times, and whatever other good things you may wish for!!  She is so delightful with her colorful legs, and magical green shoes accented with Swarovski crystals.  Her upper body and cape were designed from a tie-dyed gauze fabric in shades of green with gold metallic threads running through it. Her cape is fully lined with the same fabric as the outside of the cape. It has a little collar and is permanently attached to Emerald.

Her funky purple witch hat is 100% silk which I hand dye-using silk fabric dyes.  It is accented with a big organza flower, which I also hand-dyed.  The flower has Swarovski crystal accents in the center of it.  Her necklace was designed from Swarovski crystals and a amethyst bead from a pair of antique earrings.  She also has Swarovski crystals at her waist.  She is holding her book of "SPELLS", and it has a enameled butterfly on the top.

Since EMERALD is a fun, delightful witch, she had to have a colorful, funky hairdo!  It is an Italian yarn with wisps and nubs of color.  I hand-made her book out of a stiff paper, and it was painted a metallic gold with black lettering. (the book is permanently attached to EMERALD)  EMERALD comes sitting on a hand-painted wooden box, which is just about 5" tall.   EMERALD is 15" tall before sculpting into her permanent sitting position.  The total height of the piece (box and witch) is 12" tall.  EMERALD is NOT permanently cemented to the box, so she could be displayed sitting on the edge of a shelf or table.    Sitting without the box, she measures just about 7", when measuring from her "seat" to the upper brim of her hat.

This was a funky, mod witch I created as a special order. The customer was going to decorate and finish the "book" box herself, as a special gift for a friend.
