In this GALLERY, you will find my newest designs which I have decided to call BUTTERFLY WINGED FAIRY FACES. Each of these colorful accents are a combination of colorful butterfly wings, and a fairy's face in the center. The face, like all of my one-of-a-kind creations is 100% silk fabric, which I individually draw, needle-sculpt and hand paint. Each wing is stuffed with fiberfill, top-stitched into a design, and has inner wire armatures. There is a little ribbon loop on the back of each for hanging. Each "WING" measures approx. 7" wide x 7" long. Each creation is accented with Swarovski crystals, and/or Czech glass beads, silk flowers (some which I hand-dye), and other unique beads. If you'd like a more in depth description of any of the creations below, please contact me.

If you are looking for a bit of magic and whimsy to decorate a spot in your home, or office, or perhaps a unique gift idea, then these little creations are just the thing! They each have their own little personality. They look wonderful displayed next to flower photos, or in a grouping. They can add a bit of magic, color and whimsy to any room in your home or office.

Peachy and pinks are the color of this beautiful Butterfly. Her face has been dyed a lovely shade of brown. Her fun colorful hairdo was designed by combining two yarns. One is a soft wispy eyelash yarn and the other is a nubby textured yarn with hints of gold in it. Her hair accent is a gold plated leaf charm with a teeny ladybug attached to it. To top of the charm I added several Swarovski crystals. SHE HAS A REALLY SWEET FACE!
Ideas of how to display them. They look great just about anywhere you want a bit of color and magic!
These tiny fabric butterflies will be coming soon. Each butterfly has Swarovski crystals as their head, antennae, and body.

HERE IS THE FIRST LITTLE BUTTERFLY AVAILABLE, MORE WILL BE COMING SOON. EACH OF THESE LITTLE BUTTERFLIES HAVE SWAROVSKI CRYSTAL BODIES, HEADS AND ANTENNAE. THERE IS A TINY LOOP ON THE BACK FOR HANGING. EACH WING IS LIGHTLY STUFFED, TOP-STITCHED INTO A DESIGN, AND HAS INNER WIRE ARMATURES SO THAT YOU MAY BEND THEM A BIT.

Bright, sparkly yellow butterfly fairy. Her bright yellow hairdo is sparkly, soft and wispy. It is adorned with 6 - Swarovski crystals and 2 yellow glass leaves. The wing fabric is a sparkly yellow fabric, which makes her very magical looking.
This photo shows the little "yellow fairy wings" above in a "grouping" of flower photos and a fairy wall plaque I bought from an artist friend of mine.

This butterfly's wings are a pale green with a shimmer to it. I looks like a lighter shimmery green pattern with a bit darker color. The fabric almost has a satin look to it, but it is a top quality cotton fabric. Her lovely hairdo was designed from an Italian yarn whose texture is soft wisps and loops to it, in colors to match her wings. As a hair accent, she is wearing a silver plated filagree butterfly charm (doesn't show up in the photo), and a cluster of Swarovski crystals in the center of her hairdo.

This multi colored butterfly has a hand-dyed tan face, and a multi-colored hairdo. The yarn is an Italian yarn, and is a fun yarn of loops and wisps. Her wings are a batik fabric in shades of deep magenta, navy, dark green bits of gold and blue, with a pattern of bubbles and splashes. Her hair accents are two silk flowers, whose centers are accented with 4 Swarovski crystals.
SHE IS REALLY UNIQUE!
